Middle School Incubator

The Middle School Business Incubator curriculum, called mxINC, will help 8th grade students build on the entrepreneurial experience they had in 5th grade with freshINC. Serving as a capstone project, mxINC will give students the opportunity to build and test prototype products and eventually work toward manufacturing those products to be sold in an online marketplace. The foundation has committed $27,000 to fund the Middle School Business Incubator project, which will launch in the 2019 - 2020 school year. 

mxINC will give middle school students a hands-on entrepreneurial experience, in which they will learn how to problem solve and collaborate with their peers.  This curriculum will bridge the gap between students’ entrepreneurial education at the elementary and high school levels
