BHS BUSINESS INCUBATOR
Authentic Entrepreneurship Program founded with the help from the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation
Founded with help from the Barrington 220 Educational Foundation, this new curriculum was designed to generate business ideas, evaluate them, strategize and take them to market. They are coached along the way by local professionals who will help mentor the students as a BSI Board of Directors manages the grant amounts.
Believed to be the first of its kind in the nation, the Business Incubator course was started at Barrington High School in the 2013-14 school year. The innovative class teaches entrepreneurship to high school sophomores through seniors and has gained attention from school districts and media outlets nationwide.
